Customer Service Assistant

Location: Havant, Hampshire
Hours of work 37.5 hours a week (Mon – Friday / 8am – 4.30pm)


TRENDYGOLF is a market leader in supplying the most desirable golf brands to
the fashion conscientious consumer. With an expanding European market and
developing workforce we are looking to build a team of dedicated people to
deliver unparalleled service within the online sector.


The Customer Service Assistant will work closely with the department manager
to provide an organised environment, dealing with outgoing orders, returns and
inbound deliveries as well as helping customers directly via live chat, email and
telephone.


The applicant will require good communication skills, be prepared to work in a
small team and enjoy a diverse job role. Ideally the applicant would have an
interest / play golf as well as the ability to adapt to the day-to-day requirements
of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Answering customer queries via live chat, email and telephone. (Full
product and system training provided prior to this requirement).
- Dispatching day-to-day orders via various methods of courier.
- Dealing with customer returns / refunds.
- Keeping an organized and tidy dispatch department.
- General tasks include – Folding returned products, garment tagging,
receiving daily inventory, picking product for orders

Essential Skills & Expertise:
- A team player who is self motivated, enjoys working in a small close team.
- Organisation skills are key to help the teamwork during high pressure
periods.
- Knowledge of golf would be beneficial. The ability to talk to golfers with
an understanding of the game will help understand their needs.
- Take pride in his or her appearance and possesses an outgoing and
positive attitude.

TRENDYGOLF started in January 2004 when two self-confessed golf connoisseurs (Ian and Ben) noticed a new style hitting the fairways on the PGA and European Tour. After a long time searching the internet they finally identified the brand as J.Lindeberg, at the time being famously worn by Swedish golfer and style icon Jesper Parnevik, it then raised the question of “Where can we buy this from?”

After great difficulty and no luck trying to buy the clothing, Ian and Ben decided to create what we now know as TRENDYGOLF, the concept of which was to be a one-stop-shop for all the most fashionable clothing seen on professional golfers worldwide.

Since 2004 the company has spread worldwide and now boasts offices both in the UK and USA. But the mantra remains the same, provide the latest fashion and the products that the top players are modelling.

TRENDYGOLF is not just aimed at the fashionable golfer; it is an institution that wants to bring the latest designs from the trendiest designers around the world to the forefront of fashion, both on and off course.
