Annabel Dimmock – “Footwear Favourites”
Lets talk shoes

Shoes, my favourite subject! No outfit is complete without the perfect pair of shoes. They can make or break a look for me, and I will often start my outfit planning with the shoes. When it comes to competition, the most important aspect for me is functionality. They can be the best-looking shoes in the world but if they do not offer the support and traction I need, then it’s a non-starter.
We have seen over recent years, more and more players put a focus on gym work. Tiger changed the game with this, and we are now seeing the likes of Bryson DeChambeau taking it to a new level as well as nearly every golfer posting gym pictures throughout the week, me included!
Through my partnership with adidas I am lucky to have a range of styles at my disposal, all of which are built with the athletes needs in mind, so that takes away any concerns surrounding performance and I can pick and choose which suits my styling preferences. My current favourite is the adidas Summervent, a new female specific shoe that has a really cool running shoe styling and does not look like a traditional golf shoe. It comes in 3 different colours so it is easy to match to outfits and they’re super breathable, which is ideal for this time of year! I’m always getting compliments on them at my club!
When the weather takes a turn for the worst, I’ll grab my TOUR360 22. They’re more of a traditional golf shoe with a spiked outsole and waterproof upper so are ideal for those drizzly days we get in the UK.
If I’m heading out for a twilight round with friends then I’ll go for the Stan Smith’s that adidas released last summer. They’re perfect for heading straight out for dinner or drinks post round, no need to change in the car park! I’m hoping they restock soon so I can double up on pairs!
