Nike kicks off the 2021 season with the upcoming release of the Air Max 90G available in a new white/cool grey/black/infrared colour-way from January 14th. One of the most popular releases since the company burst on the scene in the 1980s, the Air Max 90 was originally a follow-up project to the tremendously successful Air Max 1 designed by renowned footwear designer Tinker Hatfield.
The Air Max 90G represents golf’s version of the iconic sneaker featuring a durable rubber outsole, de-bossed eye stays, and Air Max branding along with spineless integrated traction to for stability on the links.

Inspired by the Centre Georges Pompidou, a multicultural complex in Paris which features the inner-workings of the building—plumbing, electric, etc—on the outside in a variety of colours, Hatfield took those design cues back with him to the Nike campus in Oregon. The result was the first sneaker to ever have an exposed air bubble, and with it began a revolution in running sneakers and footwear design.
The newest White/Cool Grey/Black/Infrared colour-way launches at 8am GMT, Thursday January 14th 2021. As always, Nike product cannot be shipped outside of Europe.
