J.Lindeberg is proud to announce its signing of golfer Viktor Hovland, in an exclusive multi-year agreement that would put the Scandinavian apparel brand at the centre of a new golfing generation. With Viktor’s Norwegian roots, the Scandinavian brand-athlete duo will make their way to the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands for the official debut of Viktor as a pro-athlete donning J.Lindeberg.

Established in 1996, with the ambition to change golf, J.Lindeberg has continued to evolve and change skiwear, sportswear and fashion. This evolution, combining tradition and heritage with modernity in a digital age, also reflects how the brand aspires to work dynamically with its athletes. This collaboration comes at a time when the industry and the PGA Tour is witnessing the rise of a new generation of young superstars. Viktor will be the face of J.Lindeberg’s next chapter and vision of what golf could be for aspiring golfers around the world.

“Signing Viktor to a long-term deal is a major step in building our brand in the coming years. Viktor is an amazing talent, with a charm and ease about him that we at J.Lindeberg feel will inspire the younger player segment in the golf fashion business, on and off the course. Our team at J.Lindeberg looks forward to walking alongside Viktor on his journey through golf in the coming years.”

 – Jonas Andersson, CEO J.Lindeberg

Viktor is already making headlines this year earning number one spot in the World Amateur Rankings. He’s the winner of the 2019 Ben Hogan Award as the best men’s college player, as well as the 2018 US Amateur champion at Pebble Beach where he qualified for this year’s Masters. There Viktor earned the low-amateur honour with an overall finish T-32. At the US Open, Viktor most recently had the lowest 72-hole score by an amateur in US Open history and breaking legendary Jack Nicklaus’ record by two strokes to finish overall T-12. Not forgetting about Viktor’s college career at Oklahoma State where he had a scoring average of 68.59, winning three times with another eight top-10 finishes.
